After three long years it is a great joy to advise the children’s Soccer and Baseball season is returning to Sorauren Park. The program is a collaboration between the volunteer Sorauren Park Sports Association and Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation.
· The season runs May to end of June.
· All games are played at Sorauren Park, from 6-7 pm or 7-8 pm.
· Sorauren Park Sports Association runs on the steam of volunteers.
· Coaches are required for (34) teams. NO experience is required, only a fun attitude towards the game.
· All games are refereed with City of Toronto Parks and Recreation staff.

The City of Toronto has cancelled all spring recreation programs till June 29, including the sports programs at Sorauren Park, due to the COVID pandemic.

Get those barcodes ready… registration starts March 11 for the 2020 Sorauren Park children’s soccer and baseball/t-ball programs. The City also offers tennis and, indoors at the Sorauren Park Fieldhouse, early-age Adventure Camp, Supervised Play and adult pilates.
Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation, in partnership with the all-volunteer Sorauren Park Sports Association, runs the soccer and baseball (t-ball) leagues at the park starting every May. The season starts in early May. The City runs the tennis and other programs.
Make sure you have your City Client number and Family number prior to registering. This web page provides all the information you need to know to register.

Soccer and baseball/t-ball programs range from age 4 to 13. The tone is fun and friendly, with an emphasis on building sportsmanship, skills, team play and exercise. Volunteer parents serve as coaches and fundraisers (for the t-shirt uniforms and trophies), while the City provides the equipment, referees, and registration system.

- Parents, sign up for snacks. Coaches, provide your contact info.
Many coaches are still required for baseball and soccer!
It’s fun, rewarding and is a short 8-week commitment.

Registration for the popular spring/summer Sorauren soccer, baseball/t-ball house league, and tennis lessons starts March 6 through Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation.
House-league soccer and baseball/t-ball is available for kids age 3 – 13+. There are tennis lessons for kids and adults. (The City also runs Summer Activity Camps for ages 4-5 in the Sorauren Fieldhouse.)
You’ll need a Family number, account numbers for each family member, and barcodes for each program to register.
